16x8.5 draglite xp's

I ordered them recently and when I went to put them on the studs do not seem to come out far enough. They only come through the rim about half way. It really doesn't make sence to me because I haven't heard anyone with this issue. Can someone shoot me in the right direction.

Rim information- 16x8.5
5x4.5/4.75
19mm offset
5.5 backspacing

IIRC, alot of rims require the nut to enter into the rim to fit, they're lug centic instead of hub centric or something like that

Thanks, after doing numerous searches I think im just going to buy longer wheel studs and the correct lug nuts. Another question I have is do you think I am going to have to beat the inner wheel well to make my tires fit "255 50 16", the rim fits in there but I think it is VERY close to everything.

Those Xp's will take a Duplex Mag style lug nut. Xp's have a slightly larger hole than the Draglite's. I believe the Draglite's take a SST style. Just make sure you get the right lugs.

Thanks, Yhea I sent the rims back for the 16x8 rims with 4.5 backspacing. I just don't think the rim size was going to cut it without modification.
