i have had a accel cap and rotor set i bought a little over a year ago on my stock 305 tbi and it has worked perfectly, its even wearing great too.

Had to throw in my .02 on Accel too. Their stuff sucks! The two sets of plug wires I bought from them only lasted about a year each before they started misfiring. They were the "custom" cut to fit wires, and in my opinion they're just not worth the trouble when you can buy set pre-assembled and made to fit your car for just a few bucks more. I know a couple of people who've tried their plugs too, and they all said they foul way too easily to be worth using. I'd put Accel's ignition stuff maybe one notch above Autolite, which isn't praising them much at all. I'm just running Borg-Warner wires on my 89 and they're still going strong with over 100k on them. My other car has headers and the best set of wires I've ever used on it are Moroso's blue max wires. Cheaper stock style wires don't live too long exposed to the additional heat from headers, but the Moroso ones have performed wonderfully.
