Biggest tire for 16x8's??????
I have been looking at the 265/40/R16 V700 Victoracer Kumho tire. I do not do any autocross(maybe in the future) and just mainly back country winding roads that provide better race experience with enough road to out run mister 5.0!!! Let me know what you think I currently have 255/50/R16 BFG ZR out back and 245/50/R16 ZR4 up front(tire store misorder)

I think the 255's are the widest recommended for this rim width, but obviously people don't always go with recommendations.

The 265/45x16 tires will fit no problem on your rims. Right now I'm using 305/40x16 Mickey Thompson Competitor tires and have been using them the last 4 years. One side benefit of the 265/45 tire is that it's slightly shorter than the 245/50 which effectively gives you a little more gear.
