Here are some pictures of the edelbrock Cat-back PN#5672. Seems to be real good quality.

I installed the edelbrock system today. New y-pipe,catalytic converter, and cat-back. This was a wise choice. I had flowmaster, borla and this cat-back beats them all. At idle it's a little louder than stock, but once you press on the gas, it's deeper and slightly louder than flowmaster. If you go to the edelbrock web sight, it sounds like the chevy truck.

I replaced the dual cat set-up with the 3" single cat. I haven't felt any difference in HP.

the new technology for cats dont restrict the exhaust flow like they used to. the single cat probably flows better than the duals used to. nice setup.:hail:

I had the same system. IMO, you can't beat the sound of the Edelbrock. It is a pretty good quality system, especially for the price.

The dual cat set-up is good, the cheapest complete kit is at www.discountconverter.com for $365.

I have Edelbrock headers, To get a replacement y-pipe for edelbrock headers, you have to call or e-mail edelbrock ask for the discription and part # and call summit to get it cheaper. The y-pipe in the picture is for a 305 TPI 3" slip fit cat.VIN F.....cost is $170. I have to replace the exhaust hanger for the single cat.

My header part # is 6876 for 89-92 dual cat 5.0,5.7...I switched from a dual catalytic to a single catalytic set-up. The y-pipe I used is part number EDL-25-9509 and EDL-25-9508. These part numbers are from www.summitracing.com or you can get the y-pipe directly from edelbrock, but it's alittle more money. The single cat y-pipe can fit the dual cat header.
