AFR heads, paxton blower, WUT CAM?

I am building a new motor for my 91 Z28/ 5.7. I have flowmaste cat back with tes headers, slp runners with the plentum ported, A set of AFR heads, Paxton Sn2000 pushing 8lbs of boost and need to find the perfect cam. I know that blowers need specific grind cams to maximize the boost. Any suggestions?

Car: 1987 GTA originally 350TPI 3.27posi
Engine: 383 C.I.D.

Get a split duration cam and 114 LSA. These are the general guidelines. Another consensus opinion is that you don't need big lift to make power with a cam on a supercharger engine. So no need to put 1.6 rockers. I know Tim Burgess 12 sec 305 blower car thats daily driven he went with the Crane Compucar 2032hr cam with 214/220 with minimal lift under .500 so that tells the story. On your 350 I would go with a
218/230 dur cam from Comp Cams grounded with a 114 LSA. Lift is not that important as your exhaust system is and your fuel supply. Get in tuned and you should be running with the big boys. :-)

Call Crane or Comp Cams and talk to their tech guys. Have them custom grind one for you. I don't believe it costs any more than a regular cam.
