it was a while back now, but Car Craft had a tech article about those shoes and they turned out to stop their ride (i think it was something like a '75 Buick Skylark or something) in the shorest distance compared to other brands...

that was enough to get me to bite...they were relatively cheap, easy to put on, quiet...and they are a perfect compliment for the brutestop pads i have up front (THESE babies really grip)

good enough explanation??? :lala:

get Bendix, lifetime warranty, even for wear. if you plan on owning your ride forever like most of us do, go the extra mile, and fork out a little more cash for bendix. and on the front put the bendix ceramic pads, no squeals, dust or problems with them, they are great.

Yeap, thanks for the info. I was just wondering what the reasons where you chose them over other brands. I'll look into them. Thanks.

Can't go wrong with Brute Stops but I wonder if you can still purchase Lakewoods. They had grooves cut in them for cooling and debri release. I remember those working great on my 1st Gen.
