Quest air conditioner stop leak.

Some time ago I bought this item, and wonder if I should use it.
It's from Quest,

"Seals and prevent leaks, the conditioners and sealers penetrate and rejuvenate the o-rings,gaskets and other connectors to prevent Freon from leaking out of the air conditioner"

My system still works great, has full charge and is blowing ice cold, all with the mighty old Freon,or R-12.
Is it wise to put this Quest stuff in,to prevent future leaks?

No. I and many others would never use a leak stop in a known leaky system let alone a working one. Leave it alone and enjoy the ice cold R12.

Dont use it. It's kind of like that tire slime you use to stop tire leaks.. It just goo's up everything in the system. And moisture is what causes it to harden. So if your system has any moisture inside it...guess what? Also think of the shop that you get to fix your a/c next time. That stuff plugs up their equipment as well. No way to tell that stuffs in your system. Snapon and a couple of other companies are working on detectors for it though.
