Tornado air management system?

I've heard a lot of good things about the tornado air management system and was wondering if anyone has it in their car? It's supposedly increases your mpg by up to 24% and can give you up to an extra 20hp. Is this true? Can someone please let me know? Thanks.

Ok, thanks for the info. Good to know that companies out there will put a useless item out and claim it does wonders right?

Yeah it's a crock of ****. I think it would be more of restriction, than anything else.

Transmission: You!
Buy one and post before and after dyno results. I predict a 5 - 10 hp loss after the install.

Any takers?

are you talking about that little fan thing that is supposed to go in your intake system??? if you think about it, it takes a FORCE to make the thing start spinning and keep spinning, so air that should really be feeding your motor, is really feeding your tornado. I can believe people buy that thing

What surprised me about these things is that in their commercial, they claim to have been approved by Hot Rod! Not that Hot Rod is the embodiment of truth, but has anyone read that in Hot Rod? Or are these guys lying (again)? I subscribe to Hot Rod, and I haven't seen it.

Thats whats called " ADVERTISING" and they set the testing standards for that THING. Its legal as long as the product is not quoted to a Federal or State standard or a SAE one. Also people buy anything, they may have sold tens of thousands already. A old saying "A SUCKER BORN EVERY MINUTE" still holds true even today. Just my opinion.

A buddy and me found one of those Tornado things at the local pick-your-part on a car. Just a big old restriction if you ask me. We just sold it on e-bay since niether of us wanted that junk.

Key words up to. I suppose it could also make you some waffles while sucking your weenie, in fact I think you have a better chance of the later happening.
