I had the "Twin Turbo" hood on my 82 T/A and I loved it. A little tip though, as soon as you get it, make sure it lines up ok, my first one didn't (the curve of the hood was wrong) but they took it right back and even paid the return shipping on it. I loved that hood, but my hood latch took a dump on me at 60 MPH and the hood blew off of my car and got mangled. All in all I was quite happy with the hood, and if I wanted a different hood, I'd get one of theirs.

The actual latch just broke. The hook that grabs the striker just f*ckin broke and at 60 MPH the back up hook didn't stand a chance. It had nothing to do with the hood, just happened to have a fatigued latch. Thae hoods attachment points were strong enough to rip both hinges in half. The hinges did not break the hood, the hood mangled the crap out of the hinges. They are great hoods and the finish is awesome.

Not a lot of prep at all. My body guy worked on it for about 30 minutes before painting it and it looked great. As for getting it to align right, that took about 2 hours. Mostly because I'm an **** retentive perfectionist and it had to be just right. It was pretty close to factory tolerances inside of an hour, but I just had to keep fiddling with it until it was perfect. Two weeks later, it blew off my car. Maybe next time "good enough" will be ok with me.
