Just got back from lookin at rims.

I went to one of the many preformance shops by my house. This one happened to be on route 4 in fair lawn. I got a price of $1,500 for a set of Z06 rims in chrome 17X9 or 9.5 in the front and 18X10.5 in the rear. that price includes tires also mounted and balanced. All i have to do it get the adapters from http://www.skulte.com/adapters.html total for those are $300. so for $1,800 i got new rims. they also have layaway which is awesome. anyone think these would be a good addition to my car? and would i have a problem with the 18 inch rims in the back?

Just in case some of yous dont know what my car looks like. The color is also changing to the new vette medium silver.

WHaa. Sorry I'm drooling.
Did the rim shop fit them up on your car already. Or use one of those wheel measurment dealies to see if they would fit?
Post pics soon.

18's will work, You'll need to do some minor modification on the rear wheel wheel. That sound like a great price, And they will look great.

I thought it would be a pain looking for it too. All I did was call some junk yards, When I called the largest one in my area they had one. It was from a 1993 Z28, it had rear disc, posi and 3.23 gears) It wasnt hard to find the parts, and olny took a day to do the swap. Biggest bonus, NO rear adaptors, thats what sold me.

Did you get the new ABK cd on tuesday??

Ouch. Rims can be so ridiculous. Sure they look damn good though. I think i'll just stick with my $80 snowflakes.

did you get your rims yet?

what company made the rims and what kind of tires were they including.

mine were that much alone for the rims although they are 18/18 combo. the tires were almost as much and the adapters to fit were very expensive as well.

good luck with it. it isn't easy but i love how they look on my car.
