I'm looking for feedback on what users of this torque arm think. It appears to be the best of them that don't mount to the trans tailshaft housing. I have SSM subs on my 89 and would weld the crossmember to the insides of the subs. A price of $320 looks to be a bargain for what you are getting.

I sent mine back. The thing dragged ALL the time. That weld in crossbar has a low part that will drag on everything, even going in my flat driveway. Hell, it got caught coming off of the alignment rack!
You also must have SFC's too for the cross member to weld to.
A much better torque arm system is available from Spohn. it doesn't attach to the tailhousing either. It comes with an entire new crossmember that bolts directly where the stock one did. Very nice piece even though it was a little more money.

I'm with John on this one. Spohn's piece is every bit as good as the BMR item. And the price difference is more than made up for by the fact that you don't have to weld the Spohn torque arm in. I find it comforting to know that I can go back to stock if I need to.

After looking at the bmr website and then looking at the underside of my car I can see what you guys are talking about. The crossmember would probably be less than 3 inches off the ground. Not only that but a driveshaft loop may be challenging in conjunction with the torque arm.
Is there a problem at the Spohn website. I can find relocation brackets and control arms, but no torque arm. How much is it?

Nevermind, I found the torque arm and pricing. That is what I'm looking for in a torque arm. Comes with a loop too. The price is right for what you are getting. Thanks guys.
