I have a Torker II on my car, it works but it's mismatched to the rest of the engine. Should clear the stock hood, but I think hood clearance is the only reason you'd want one rather than a taller single-plane.

We used a Weiand X-Celerator on my friends 84 Camaro. It ran damn good, and no clearance problems.

on the weiand webpage the picture for the 7525 looks like it's for a spreadbore carb but the webpage also recomends a 750 - 850 CFM Holley HP. I have a square bore holley vacume secondary 750cfm carb. I will need an adapter plate for this to work on this intake right?

The 7525 has provisions for both square and spreadbore carbs. The low rise 7547 will fit under the hood and I've them with very good results for the money. I've seen them flow rated at 250 cfm per runner, so it could restrict the better flowing heads. I'm not sure if the taller 7546 will fit under a 3rd gen or not.
