I've got to give Rhino Ramps a big thumbs up, too. I've had them for three years now and they are great. Nice and wide, too.

I got some Rhino ramps a few weeks back from Pepboys on sale and with free wheel chocks. Makes oil changes a breeze!

Those are excellent ramps, and they seem to grip real good, the height is just right to.

I used them on my B4C when I had the prokit on there and they work ok, I had to lift up on the front end (manually) just a little to fit them in, probably a better choice for lowered cars are the metal ones and use the optional extension ramps.

I have some of those and my stock RS still scrapes them.

I have them too. they are great ramps and pretty cheap.
My '88 gets on them no problem, but the larger front GFX of my '92 won't clear, I have to use some boards to step the car up onto the ramps.
It sux for our cars because of the huge front overhang we have.
Nonetheless, they make life easier!

It's not about ground clearance, it's about the distance from the front wheel to the front of the car. Miatas et al have very little in front of the front wheel, while our cars have quite the "overhang" as it was just referred to. I haven't been able to use a ramp since lowering my ride. I've seen ramp extensions, though.

It's no big deal anyway. Once you get subframe connectors, jacking up the car is actually easier than using ramps.

I have a set that I bought for $31 at Autozone a year ago. Nowadays, Wal-Mart has them for $16.88!

88 WS6 TransAm GTA,
I use them on the front of my '92 GTA with no problem. Doesn't hit the GFX. They did knock off the deer-scarers that the previous owner installed though. Those hung down over 1 1/2".

Re: Rhino Ramps... awesome!

My guess is that you will be okay, HisDivineShadow, though I've never had a GTA. I never had any problem with my '92 Formula and have only the slightest of issues with my '87 and '90 IROC's and '91 Z28.

Good luck.

Re: Rhino Ramps... awesome!

They will work on a lowered car (in my case a RS with Eibach Pro-Kit) if you take a hand saw and cut down the lip at the rear of the ramp. I have a lot of trouble with them wanting to scoot out from under my car. I've even tried the trick of attaching a rope to it and driving onto the rope before driving onto the ramp. It could be that my garage floor is too slick. Because of these hassles my preferred method is to jack up the front and use jack stands under the A-arms. When I do use the ramps I'll just jack up the front of the car then lower it onto the ramps.

Re: Rhino Ramps... awesome!

I picked up some at AutoZone a few months ago. I haven't used them on the front wheels but I did back onto them fine without scraping. Pretty cool product.

i'm the same way. jack stands are very easy to use. i've also done the jack up and let down onto the ramps method as you mentioned.

Re: Rhino Ramps... awesome!

my 89 formula is lowerd and uses the 82-83 T/A air dam which is deeper than the stock formula dam and i bump the air dam on the ramps when i use mine. my issue is when i roll up on my ramps mine slide and yup that lil rubber foot is on there, i screwed it thru the side to make sure it stayed put. mine slide due to my floor, its epoxy coated.
now on stright out concrete, they grip like a merf and work killer. if ya just brush the underside of your car i wouldnt sweat that but if your diggin into the ramps then thats where i would have concern.
