Flowtech afterburner headers,, any good??
they cost 135$ for the headers and $113 for the y pipe,, $248 isnt bad.. but are they worth it.. do they perform well?? anyone have them? is installation straight forward?

I have never installed a set, but IMHO I would not go for them. I was looking at them at Advanced Auto. They are aluminum right?
SLPs are on sale for $350 right now (w/ypipe I believe).
For the PITA headers are to put in, I'd never want to do it again. Get the SLPs while they're still on sale! They're 409 stainless steel!

Hot Rod (oct. 2000) recomended those. I wouldn't think Hot Rod would go out of thier way to recomend junk, but it is possible. The tri-Y is the best design over all when it comes to headers (I have read a number of things that say that.) But I guess we are talking quality of construction here?
