I have never installed a set, but IMHO I would not go for them. I was looking at them at Advanced Auto. They are aluminum right?

SLPs are on sale for $350 right now (w/ypipe I believe).

For the PITA headers are to put in, I'd never want to do it again. Get the SLPs while they're still on sale! They're 409 stainless steel!

Flowtech=junk. Spend $50 more and get some edelbrock or spend 100 more for slp's. Good headers are worth the extra money. Junk headers = nightmare.

Hot Rod (oct. 2000) recomended those. I wouldn't think Hot Rod would go out of thier way to recomend junk, but it is possible. The tri-Y is the best design over all when it comes to headers (I have read a number of things that say that.) But I guess we are talking quality of construction here?
