aftermarket engine crossmember

I was talking to one of my buddies and he said that he heard that there was an aftermarket engine crossmember that will allow you to drop the oil pan on an f-body. Anyone know who makes it, how much it costs, and how much of a pain it is to put in.

BMR makes the tubular K-member that you are refering to. You would have to call them for pricing and yes, it's a pain in the **** to put it in! Hope that helps!

PA Racing (www.paracing.net) makes one, but I have heard too many mixed reviews on it, so I cancelled my order for one, and got one from Road Tech (www.roadtechonline.com) I should have it next week sometime. He sells one off the website, but you must convert to a coil-over suspension, but he is making a custom one of rme and a few other guys I think, and it will retain the stock suspension setup. Here's a money shot of the normal one he sells:

I cant wait to get mine!!!

How much did RoadTech charge you for the crossmember you ordered for stock suspension?I am very interested in the RoadTech unit but didn't want to convert to coil over.
