G-tech times compared to actual 1/4 mile times

For those that have used a G-tech, how do your times compare to actual elapsed dragstrip times. My times have been very comparable but my MPH has been 5 or six higher on the g-tech. Comments??

My 1/4 mile times have been within .2 of my times at the track but the mph on the g-tech is always about 5mph high. I've heard that this is because the g-tech gives you the speed at the end of the 1/4 mile while the track gives you an average speed over the last few feet of the track.

------------------
best 1/4 mile so far: 13.4 @ 101mph

Yea I read an article in Popular Hot Rodding about the G-Tech and they said their's did the same. It was about 1-2 tenths off and higher speeds than the e.t. slips showed. I guess the speed calculated at the strip is averaged over the last 60 ft. The G-Tech figures it right at the 1/4 mile mark.
