Scorpion or other rocker arms
Just wondering what you guys think about putting in 1.6 roller rocker arms. Do you think it is a good upgrade for a little more performance, or is 1.6 a little bit unsafe for for a just above stock engine. Do you think i should go with 1.6 or 1.5 or possibly 1.52?

I have Scorpion roller rockers in my 360ci. I bought them from my machine shop for $250.00 a while back. I sill havent found a better unit. I have run them hard for 6 years and have had them above 6800 rpm many many times. Oh by the way they are 1.6 units. Durability is great. If you look at the physical size of them you can see why they are so sturdy. As for your application, you need to do the math to see if you'll have coil bind on the valve springs at the increased lift and that the valvetrain geometry will still be correct. But for a product testimonial, those are one of the best things I ever bought.

Just for good measure, do you think possibly putting in new valve springs also would help reduce a chance of something like that happening to the engine?

should be the stock cam as far is I know, so, according to the specs on the tech article at this website, .413/.428 at 1.5 and .441/.457 at 1.6. I dont know all that much about calculating the math, so any help would be great on learning this stuff
