I've used it and had some success with it helping to keep me a little bit cooler. Here's what you need to know:
#1- if you don't have any cooling problems (i.e. you run 165-170) it isn't gonna do anything for you.
#2- it works better in a pure water, or at least a weak antifreeze mix. In a strong mix (50/50) it won't help.
As a matter of fact, if you're having any cooling problems and you run a strong mix of antifreeze, try running a weaker mix. Antifreeze actually is a ****TY coolant (it is a very poor conductor of heat), it's only real purpose is freeze protection. It provides some boil-over protection, but the rad. cap does more. I have fixed more than one overheating car by draining/flushing and refilling with a 1/4 - 1/3 mix of AF. My 85 made it for over a month in single digit temps with a 1/4 mix of AF, so freeze protection can be maintained to a degree even at those levels.
Of course i hope you have alrady made some provisions for turning your fans on at a lower temp, and possibly a 180 stat. Otherwise, you're expecting miracles.
How it works...Water wetter works as a surfactant (breaks the 'surface tension' on water) thus helping the coolant make better contact and thus get more heat from the engine, and vv. by getting more heat radiated in the rad.

Thanks for the replies guys. I just added a bottle of it to my coolant. It wasnt running too hot (about 200*). I also have a stock 195* stat that will soon be replaced with a 180. thanks again.

vortech, I'm sure that it would, because water wetter isn't an anti-freeze agent. Also, I seem to recall that water wetter works best with water alone. So, I would imagine that your rad and everything else would freeze

Also I have talked to alot of guys at the local track and speed shop. They say that for it to continue working, you have to drain and refil your cooling system every month. Water Wetter is mostly designed for 1/4 mile racing more than street driving.

On the bottle it says that they recommend it to be changed once a year.

I sincerely doubt that WW will increase the freezing temperature of water, thus leading to freezing problems in cold weather.
Did you notice the anecdote on my 85Z and how it lived through over a month of single digit temps w/ 1/4 mic of AF? I was also running WW at the time. Nothing froze. And i was as borderline as you can get, and WW didn't make me freeze.
...ed

ps, also thought i'd add, i think that WW contains some anti-corrosion and lubricant agents so your cooling system doesn't suffer rust/wear when runnning with little/no AF in it. And i'm sure i already pointed out that using WW with anything near a 50/50 mix is a waste of $$$, not only will the WW be ineffective, but you aren't even trying to help your situation from jump street by running that strong of AF.
