I find it hard to believe that so few people have spoken about the WIX filter. IMO, this is one of the best filters you can buy for the money. Cut one open and compare it to Fram, Purolator, Delco, etc. and you'll see. Better construction, much more filter surface area. Just my $.02

I've always liked WIX filters. FYI, WIX makes filters marketed by NAPA stores. A good filter that is occassionally specified by Cat, John Deere, etc.

I also use Baldwin filters, but they're hard (impossible) to find off the shelf. Some heavy equipment dealers can special order them. There's a glass-media Baldwin on the IROC now.

You wouldn't have a part number for the Baldwin filter, would ya? I'd like to see what it's all about. One of the beautiful things about living in LA (yes, there actually are one or two!) is that if you can't find the car part you are looking for here, it probably isn't made!
