FOrd motorsport injectors(its all a big lie)

As i got mines from summit the ford 19lb injectors were one inch shorter than stock. Is that a problem. The injectors are going into an 88' 305 TPI. Did summit screw up or could i still install the 1 inch smaller ford injectors. Please tell me someone had the same experience and there were no problems installing them. Help

They arent 1" shorter they are about 1/8th. And yes they will work fine. Make sure you use the inj. retainer clips.

Car: 90 GTA
Engine: 350
Transmission: TKO
Axle/Gears: Stock
I put 24# Ford injectors on yesterday (still haven't ran the car). You have to use the old clips, but on mine new Ford injectors there were two recesses it could have gone in. The one that was only recessed half of the circumference, the other was a full recess all the way around. If the clip fit in the half recess, then the injector would have been dead even with my former 19# stock injectors. The clip wouldn't fit right so I used the full circle recessed part and it was 1/8" off. They still went into the intake fine. hoepfully I can test it today...
