PTC torque converters

Is anyone using a converter from PTC

www.ptcrace.com

They quoted me a 2800-3000 stall fro the 700R4 for $250 bucks.

Is this a good deal? I have a friend running one in a 70 nova with a power glide. He has had good luck out of it.

Thanks for any info.

That's not a bad price at all. I not sure about the quality but, if your friend's has been good. Go for it.

Yeah, he is pushing 650 hp and running 6.48 in a 1/8. He has a 2 speed powerglide.

I Know it is a different converter than the 700R4, but the quality should be there.

I think I will try them out.
