Painless Wiring Harness For 88' TPI(MY LAST POST)

Im in conclusion of getting my motor done. As of right now id be driving the thing, but unfortunatly someone stole my engine harness. Ive tried ebay(no luck)junkyards(no luck)my last and final resort is Painless wiring. Others sell harness but they are conversions to speed density. I dont want that. Please i need some comments and suggestions on an engine harness. Is there at least on person that has had a great eperience using the painless wiring in their thirdgen camaro. Oh yeah and write your experience on it.

I have no first hand experience with the Painless Wiring set, but my friend used it in his 89 RS when he converted it to TPI. He said that he should have gotten the extra length one, not the regular one. The problem is that the regular one is too short to follow the stock routing through the front fender wall and he had to cut a hole in the fire wall to make it fit. So if you do get a Painless kit, make sure you order the extra length one and save yourself the trouble, and I am also almost 100% sure they make ones for MAF cars.

Dude
Try Fuel Injection Specialties(FIS) in San Antonio, TX
I vistied their shop and they know their stuff (TPI-LT-1)
They have one room dedicated to harness making.
I don't have any idea about price or web address, though I know they have a site.
Good luck

Car: Damn
Engine: This
Transmission: New Stuff
Yeah fuel injection specialties does good work. I live right by S.A. and friend of mine had them set up his 600 horse 454 with efi. The whole setup is sweet and very good looking, no problems yet with any of their stuff. A little pricy though. They can make just about anything for efi.

I just put TPI on my car using a Painless harness and it worked great. I bought all new GM sensors and relays, used an '85 model manifold setup (drilled the center holes), put it all on and it started right up. It was tight though....could have been a couple of inches longer. I ran mine through the firewall behind the windshield wiper motor because there wasn't room on the A/C side. Hardest part was the new baffled gas tank with electric fuel pump and lines that I scavenged from a wrecked RS.....geez!
...good harness though. WELL worth the effort.
