Stock 36mm from an IROC, Z28, or WS6 Firebird is the best bang for the buck. There is no way to tell the sizes without measuring them, however.

I have both the 34 mm and 36 mm hollow GM bars and fortunately both still have the part numbers on them, so you can tell them apart that way

The P/N for the 36 mm bar is 14094344, the 34 mm is 14094339 so hunt the boneyards. I stumble across the 34 mm bars all the time. Either bar would be a good choice. My '91 RS has the F41 suspension package and came stock with a hollow 34mm bar, 21mm rear. It now has a 24mm rear bar and handles very well.

what is a good company for aftermarket sway bars? i'd like to get a new one instead of one out of a junk yard, our junkyards around here aren't that nice.

Most aftermarket ones I've found are around 200 for the set.
It's be a lot cheaper to but junkyard ones, clean em, and have em powdercoated. Probably cost ya 100 bucks.

Don't shy away from junkyard swaybars. They're just as good if not better than aftermarket ones and will probably be cheaper for you to get. I'd pick up the ones JamesC has for sale...if I needed a set

I've got a set you can but too. They are after market, powder coated, Strange Technique sway-bars. I think they are 34 solid and 22 solid. If you reallly hate junkyard ones than these will be perfect. If your interested lemme know and I'll get you exact measurements cause I'm positive those are correct. $120 obo and you pay shipping (kinda heavy).
