Well it is spring, which means cars mods!
I want to either get the K&N style air cleaner that attaches directly to the throttle body or the SLP Cold air induction kit.
Anybody out there have any problems with either product? The K&N is a hell of a lot cheaper so it is looking better already....lets hear what ya think!

DO NOT get the K&N that attaches to the TB. It will only draw in hot air from behind the radiator and from your exhaust. The higher temps will cause a larger HP loss than the filter will gain. Go with a good cold air system or build your own. I built my own in about an hour with basic hand tools and $20 in materials plus K&N's. Knocked off three tenths in the quarter with my previous 305. No BS.

Heres an idea a friend gave me , I did it on my car and it worked great. total cost was like $15.
Cut a whole in the passenger side air deflector (black plastic piece below bumper). Buy a 90 degree PVC pipe from Lowes or Home Depot, along with some dryer venting . Attach it to the PVC pipe and run it up through the passenger fender, all the way to the stock airbox snorkel. That's for a pontiac by the way.
The Camaros I believe are removing their fog lights and running cold air that way. There are some great tech articles on this site for it. Ron Mullins has an excellent one.
