Stewart Water Pumps
I remember seeing a thread on the boards a few weeks back on stewart pumps but cant find it. I know alot of people said they really liked them. I want to get a better water pump for my engine swap and am considering this one if I can get some positive feedback. Are they better than mildon, edeljunk? Also, which one would i need for a 375hp 350? stage 1 or 2? Thanks. I will be ordering something soon. Jason

I got one, don't remeber the web site off hand. Good quality piece. The main difference between stage 1 and 2 is one is iron and the other is aluminium. If you have the cash, get the aluminium one.

I put the Stage1 pump on both of my thirdgens, and I'll put one on any future thirdgens I may get. They blow the stock crap away totally. I could not keep my 87Z's 350 cool with the stock replacement pumps, (all new radiator, lines, 160 stat, etc) and the stock replacement pumps kept dying anyway. The Stewart made all the difference in the world, only $70ish anyway... No cooling problems now.

I have Stewart Stage 1 pumps on my Camaro and my wife's Blazer and a Stage 2 pump on my Nova SS396.They're the best pumps you can get in my opinion.Priced reasonable too.

My Dad had cooling problems on his 34 Ford with the stock L69 water pump when going up hills. So he replaced it with the Stewart stage 1 and guess what, no problems at all now. They're used on the NASCAR circuit quite a bit.
