new camaro / rpo codes help

just purchased a new '87 350 iroc camaro ( although the build sticker states its a '86 ?? ) its a lovely car with what seems to be a good specand only 70,000 km . could anyone tell me if it is a genuine iroc ? . the rpo codes in the centre console are as follows

AC3-AG9-AR9-AU3-A01-A31-A90-B18-B2L-B3W-B34-B35-B4Z-B84-B94-B97-CD4-C60-DD8-DG7-DK6-D08-D34-D42-D6M-D80-D88-E5Z-E7Z-E9Z-FE2-GW6-G80-J65-KC4-K34-K68-L98-MD8-MX0-NA5-N0D-NP5-N33-N65-N96-PB4-P20-QD2-TR9-TT4-T93-T96-UQ1-UX1-U21-U25-U26-U29-U79-VK3-V73-YR1-YS1-YT1-YT9-Z28-1AZ-1HV-1SC-15P-6ZX-7ZX-8NL-81Q-81U-82C-82I-829-86A-9NL

NOW THESE CODE DONT MEAN ALOT TO ME BUT I UNDERSTAN THEY ARE WHAT THE CAR CAME WITH FROM FACTORY, SO COULD ANY OF YOU GUYS SHED ANY LIGHT ONTO THE CAR I HAVE ?? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome. On the question of the model year the 10th digit of your VIN will tell the year - G = 1986 and H = 1987.Check that the VIN on the build sticker matches the one on the car in the lower left corner of the dash-visible through the windshield. If they match then your on course but the console pad/covers get changed out due to cracking of both the top pad and plastic underside.Look through the Tech section on here for info for your IROC(the RPO B4Z in your list indicates you have a real IROC and the RPO B2L & L98 indicates you have a true 350 car if the VIN's match). You have a very well equipped car.If you go to Welcome To Camarosource.ca - Internet's Largest Most Complete Camaro Resource Site and look for your year you'll find a RPO decoder. Now you may not find all of them so if you have trouble then repost them on here and I'm sure someone will come up with them

Car: 1987 GTA
Engine: LT1
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.70 posi
GW6 : AXLE REAR, 3.27 RATIO
G80 : AXLE POSITRACTION, LIMITED SLIP
FE2 : SUSPENSION SYSTEM, RIDE HANDLING
1SC : PACKAGE, OPTION 03

With it being a 350 car, the build date should be late '86 possibly 8/'86-12/'86 since there were no L98 cars available to the public in '86. Good find, 3.27 posi unit and the FE2 suspension, should be pretty good and also well equipped with the 1SC option package. If the RPO sticker vin matches the VIN on the left side of the dash behind the windshield the 8th digit should be an 8

thanks for the input guys

all the Vin numbers match and the 10th digit is a 'h' so it must be a '87 , although the build sheet does say '86. the guy i brouth ut off from said that he was told that chevy built a certain amount of late '86 350's for trials for the '87 model ( around 50 he was told and that it could be one of them ) now the guy said it could be just a made up story but then again it might not be ?????

I live in the U.K and i think its quite a good find given the fact there are not that many over here. heres a little vid clip. i didn't mean to spin the wheels but there seems to be loads more low down power compaired to my '83 carb'd motor. the car needs an exhaust system and it wont shift out of 1st ( i have a fresh 700R4 ) but generally its in great condition and i only paid £1500 for it , so about $3000

That's great the VIN's match so you have the genuine article. And i bet she is very rare in England. The build date could easily be late '86(like Klortho stated with the late intro of the L98 cars).Almost all auto plants gear up for the next model year's production in the late summer(even earlier if there are big changes in an exsisting model).Like now the '07 models are on dealer lots and you'll see '07-1/2 or even '08's in the Spring.
And you have a very sharp looking IROC .And you can't help if your foot slipped a little when the video was made.Have you checked to make sure the TV cable is adusted properly for the trans ( https://www.thirdgen.org/detent )?

I can tell you for sure that it's an '87 model, it doesn't have the third brake light on top of the hatch window but in the spoiler.
