How rare is this car

Hope this is the right forum LOL.
Was at my bosses house looking at one of his cars (also a member here)that I had not seen on over a year. We are thinking its pretty rare for the following reasons
Its a red 83 Z/28 has 21k original miles, third owner car. It is fully loaded for 83, rear whiper, rear windshield fluid squirter (never even seen that before or just never noticed it on a camaro), t-tops, full power, spolier, everything.
I have only ever talked to one guy that had a early 80's Z with a rear whiper and it was a project car that he wish he never sold. Saw one before and it was a rust bucket. I know they made a lot of 83's and all but how many do you see with that mileage and condition?
Car is set up to go fast, has a BBC it it with a TH-400, 12 bolt some suspension work, wheels and stickies and a 6 point.I told him I think it might be worth quite a bit of money if you found someone that likes those early third gens and at the very least they could convert it back to stock and have a killer show car.
I told him I would keep it for a while.
Heck if I had the money I would buy it.

The rear window wiper according to The White book had a total population of 46,122 for Camaros only it does not include the Firebirds in which it was also an option. For comparison there were about 49,000 Formulas, 40,000 Trans Ams and 37,000 GTA's made from 1987 - 1992.
As for all of the other stuff that was modified and added I would think its a one of a kind.

Of the 10,900 I wonder how many were in red and how many are left.... doubt they kept those kind of records...

23,419 of the approxiamtely 154,000 or approximately 15% of the Camaros in 1983 were RED.
Approximately 7% of the Camaros had the rear wiper in 1983, if you crunch the numbers and you assume that there were an equal number of camaros in each color that got the wiper then 1640 of the Red Camaros got the wiper, if you want to brake it down more approximately 40 of the Camaros were Z28's... You could probably assume that 656 Z28 Camaros had the rear window wiper when painted Red. But the number is only speculation as there are not published records in this mannor.
