Camaro Body Parts

Looking to get rid of a few items that I have. I'm moving and am looking to get rid of these items before I move. Both parts are for a Camaro.

1) Stock hood. Not sure what year it's off of, but it is black with some surface rust. A little sanding and a little bondo and it can be good as new.

2) Stock rear bumper cover. In really good condition, minor cracking of the paint, but the mounting holes are all in good shape. Again, not sure what year.

If interested, make me an offer. The parts are in NJ, and frankly, I'd rather not ship them. If you want them, come and get them. Cash talks, BS walks. I'd also be willing to trade for other parts:

1) Rear bumper cover off of an IROC.
2) Interior plastic parts, black.
3) T-top parts. I want to convert a hard top to a T-Top and instead of cutting and chopping two roofs, I want to cut the holes on my hardtop and add the hardware.

I'd also be willing to trade for parts that you just don't know what to do with, but I want to determine if I need them, so let me know what you have.

Thanks guys (and gals)!

Re: Camaro Body Parts

I have an extra set of T-tops from a 91 z28. They are used and need some work and weather stripping.

I'll trade you for the rear bumper cover if it will fit the z28

Re: Camaro Body Parts

Jaseman, I do not have a manual. I have a automatic V6, so I can't really help you. If I come across a console top, I'll let you know. Try eBay, I see them there all the time.

Brettofburke, before I agree to the trade, what do you mean by 'needs some work'? Is the glass scratched or something? or do they just need the interior trim replaced? If it's just weather stripping and a good cleaning, I'll be happy to trade. I think the bumper came off a '91 or '92, so it should fit. I'll look, but I think there might be a part number on the bumper, that might give us an insight into what year it's off of.

From what I understand though, all the body parts from '82 - '92 should be interchangeable.

If you have pictures of the tops, email me at secured1@juno.com. (Yes, that is really my email address)

Re: Camaro Body Parts

The cover is white. Happily, with it being white, it shouldn't be too difficult to repaint. At least it isn't black or some other dark color that would be a pain to cover over.

how bad are the scratches? could they be buffed out or something? pics would be great if you can get them to me...

Re: Camaro Body Parts

So, here's the deal. I still have the bumper cover as well as what is already on my car. I placed the white on next to the one on the car, and a I think that I actually have an IROC bumper cover, but someone removed the body kit- if this is possible.

Anyway, I have the white IROC bumper cover (if that is in fact what it is) and the one I know is stock still on the car. (Which is red/maroon color.) I'll depart with the red one, but if you really are interested, I'll need a little time to remove it from the car (no extra charge BS).

Please let me know. Again, both are in great condition as far as the bolt holes go, and I have some mounting hardware. Both will need a good scrubbing and painting, but I'd be willing to place either on my Camaro.

Let me know.

Re: Camaro Body Parts

Yes. I am very interested.

Is there anyway that you can send me a picture of the one you want to get rid of? Or both?

I am trying to find one that will go with the other ground effects body kit parts and the one I have does not go with them.

I need one that looks like this (except color doesn't matter):

Re: Camaro Body Parts

Sorry man, that's not what I have. The two bumpers I have look like that except for the last inch or so that flare out. What you are looking for is an IROC or Z28 rear bumper cover (There is also the Aero body kit - though I'm not sure what trim package that was on).

If you want the stock bumper cover, you are more than welcome, just keep in mind that when you put it on, the rear quarter panel ground efx will not line up with the bumper.

Frankly, I'm looking for the same bumper cover you are. You can look on eBay, I see them there alot, but they are in high demand. Personally, I was thinking of building my own rear bumper body kit piece since I now know I have an IROC/Z28 bumper with out the flare at the bottom...
