1987 z28 LT1/T56 buy now or Cash for Clunkers
Updated and priced to sell. If it doesn't sell within a week I will be turning it in on the cash for clunkers deal, so someone buy it.
EDIT: I DONT WANT YOUR TRADES. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE CAR REGISTERED TO YOU FOR 1 YEAR TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CASH FOR CLUNKERS
1987 Camaro Z28 T tops, pw, pl,
91-92 gfx and spoiler
custom cowl hood
10 spoke 4th gen SS wheels
dropped 2" with intrax springs
bmr adj panhard
lt1 rearend with rear disk, 3.42s, moser axles, arp studs
motor:
lt1 out of a 95 ta. approx 55k miles
eldelbrock shorties and y, highflow cat, flowmaster catback
K&N intake
msd wires
newer ngk plugs
msd coil
160* stat, fans programed down
TNT F1 Wet nitrous kit
t56 trans
pro 5.0 shifter
car has a 4th gen dash out of a 97ss
white leather seats out of a 4th gen ta
new headliner, sail panels, visors
currently no stereo, had a nice deck with good 6x9s and wired for an amp with single 12, it was stolen. I have a set of brand new alpine 6x9's and a deck from a 97 that will go with the car.
ok, the bad. The car has a hesitation that will come off idle at part throttle. If you get off it or give it more gas it will clear up and pulls very hard. I believe the hesitation is fuel related but haven't had time to verify. It also does not have AC.
This is a beautiful car with a ton of work into it. It is a huge head turner and a blast to drive. As a project it is about 90% complete, I just don't have the time to mess with it any more, and it just sits in my garage.
EMAIL any questions, tmonee98@gmail.com, do not PM I dont log in often.
$4500.00

Yep, but im not going to do any paperwork, or do anything at the DMV unless im getting something I want. I'm not here to do anyone favors, I'm trying to sell a car. If I can't sell it, then it's gone. I'm asking what clunkers will give me for this car that has a bunch of work into it, and looks pretty good, and I cant even get that. Someone step up and buy this thing.

Don't crush it. wait it out and sell it. Car guys don't crush, we restore! If I was closer I would try to work it out, but toronto Ontario is to far to come get it. Keep trying to sell it.

Why wait, do it now. This things been up for sale forever might as well C4C it. Get something worthwhile for it while the option is available.
All the haters dont want you to C4C it, they should buy it.

At the very least...Trade your good, aftermarket parts for stock parts, then C4C it. At least they'll be crushing old stock stuff, not the good aftermarket parts.

Re: 1987 z28 LT1/T56 buy now or Cash for Clunkers
Are you guys retarded?
The car has to be registered to the person using the Cash for Clunkers program for the past year.
He's not going to trade you, as he'd get F*ed in the end.
He's not going to part it out because he's tired of the car and wants it gone.
Get it through your heads: He just wants the money in order to buy a new car. He can sell it to someone here or the government, but either way he's going to get $4500 for it.
So stop talking about it. Tell your friends or whatever, but either step up and buy it or shut up.
I can't imagine how many complete idiots are private messaging him and getting their hopes up that he'll trade them straight up for their beater.

Re: 1987 z28 LT1/T56 buy now or Cash for Clunkers
TMoNeE has the right to do with his car as he wishes. Personally I hope he burns it to the ground and posts it on Youtube, but that's just me. He has laid out his terms and you can either buy the car or don't. But for crap sake constantly whining about him doing it is probably not going to change his mind and is against board rules of interfering in TMoNeE's ad.
Besides, you guys that are complaining about it are being laughed at on two different sites currently. Why feed that? Buy it or stay out of the thread.

If everyone else would shut up about what you want to do......you guys are clogging it up with more post bitchin about other people, than the people asking to trade are....
Drive to Idaho as well I suspect? Need a ride back or flying??
There are no pics of right side of car....do you happen to have any. Besides hesitation and radio, anyother problems....leaks, squeeks, unseen things, smokes, etc.
possible to get a video on you tube maybe??? like to hear it run....

Re: 1987 z28 LT1/T56 buy now or Cash for Clunkers
I would fly back, if you are truly interested I will get vid and what not, but im not going to jump through hoops for no reason.
Its a thirdgen, of course it has rattles and squaks, but probably less than the average as the interior is all updated. Pretty much all the problems are listed. The oil pan is dented because the car is so low, however its not a problem, but either way ill provide a new pan with the car.
I am not pulling anything off this car, im done with it, I will do no more work. Not to mention I dont have any of the stock parts any more.
91interceptor, email me with any more requests, but dont bother unless you are serious. If you are really serious I will hold onto it, I dont really have a deadline.

wtf... This thing hasn't sold yet? For whats put into it, its well worth the asking price. I know my lt1 t56 swap and full 4th gen interior has run me well over $6-7,000, then again, I built my engine, not stock. That $6-7,000 does NOT include price I paid for vehicle. Bump for you

I think he got rid of it, cause the cash for clunkers program is no longer running.
